2023-24 Kentucky School Report Card (SRC) Dashboards for Jamestown Elementary School
It's an immense privilege to serve the students and families in the community of Jamestown. Prior to becoming a principal, I served as a middle school social studies teacher for five years and then an elementary school counselor for five years as well. I love coming to "work" every day and seeing the smiling faces of our students and staff. It feels good to be in Jamestown.
Our school prioritizes "The JES Way" in everything we do. We believe respect, responsibility, and safety can help us achieve our mission of collaborating with students and families for their successful and productive outcomes.
I am a 2009 graduate of Russell County High School and have obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from Campbellsville University and the University of the Cumberlands. On a personal note, I have a wonderful wife, Kelsey, and two amazing children, Logan Elyse (2) and our infant son, River Wayne.
Thank you for your support as we work together for the success of our students.
Best regards,
Zach Smith, Principal
